Small Boutique HotelA Lovely Hotel
We really liked this hotel. It was small and the gardens and pool were awesome. It was older but it had been refurbished so the age just made it cozy. I liked the almost-Moroccan design aesthetic, which added warmth to the decor. Our room was set on a little flagstone path a little away from the main areas, which I really liked, and we had a huge shower and claw foot bathtub. All good. The restaurant onsite was good so the poolside service was way above what you would normally expect, especially their cocktails. The hotel was also within easy walking distance from other good restaurants and shops in the uptown design district. It's a great spot. I would highly recommend it.
Small Boutique Hotel
with Magnificient Gardens and Pool
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved every moment of our visit. The hotel oozes Spanish/Moroccon style and charm, with cobblestone paths, tucked away lounging nooks, red-tiled roofs and balconies. The grounds are lovely with jasmine and gardenia, which attract lots of hummingbirds. The pool was sparkling and just the right temp. There were plenty of chairs in the sun and sheltered from the sun. Every single staff member was professional and kind. We spent a little more and stayed in one of the casitas, which we enjoyed as it had a private outdoor area. The bed was comfortable and the decor was lovely. We had a couple breakfasts in the restaurant, which were delicious. I would recommend the fried rice with eggs and the egg white omelet. The location was perfect as you can easily walk or ride bikes into the downtown area. To sum it up, if I could build a home like this, I would!
